Quartz-synchronized precision stepper motor is accurate to within
±0.02% of the set value throughout the 1 to 6,500 RPM operating
range of the instrument.
Rotational
speed can be set in the clockwise and counter-clockwise direction
using RPM units in 1 RPM increments, or as a percentage of scale
value from 1% to 120% (210 to 5,040 RPM).
Tests
optical tachometers from 500 to 40,000 RPM in 10 RPM increments
with an accuracy of ±0.02% of the set value using the included
10:1 multiplier and adapter.
Simple,
intuitive front panel controls and display.
Automated
sweep mode slowly ramps-up the rotational speed from zero to the
setpoint value and back down to zero for simple isolation of needle
fluctuations and erratic readings.
Incorporates
AND 20005 drive pad for use with all standard aircraft tachometer
generators and alternators.
Includes
a standard GEU-7/A two-pole tachometer generator and an SAE cable
adapter for convenient testing of electrical and cable-driven tachometers.
20/40
Ohm Wye-connected dummy load bank is included for testing 3-phase
tachometer generators per MIL-G-26611.
Rugged
aluminum carrying case protects the unit from harsh environments
and includes storage for adapters and accessories.
